Visa information

UK, EU and US country passport holders require a Visa when travelling to Egypt. We recommend you to check the status for your country before travelling.

Travellers of all nationalities can obtain a visa online (e-Visa) or visit the Egyptian Embassy in their country.

We advise all delegates to apply for their visa as soon as possible.
Should you have any issues securing your visa, please escalate this to AVCA as we may be able to support them in resolving this.

Important information about travelling to Egypt

You will need to do the following at the point of entry to Egypt:

  • Passport valid for at least six (6) months from the date of entry into Egypt, and has at least one blank page for the entry stamp

  • Visa (if applicable)

  • Your proof of accommodation

  • Return-flight air ticket or a ticket for onward travel

  • All travellers will be asked to fill a Public Health Passenger Locator and a Public Health form at check-in or onboard the flight.
